Ever looked at your bank account wondering where that paycheck you got last week went? All of those on the way to work coffee stops, snacks from the vending machine and grocery impulse buying. It is official… food runs our pockets. Here are 3 tips to keeping money in your wallet:


1. Store Memberships:

Wholesale shopping centers are popping up everywhere! Whether shopping for yourself or for your family, stores like Costco, BJ’s and Sam’s have all of your shopping needs. While these stores have a membership cost, you get serious bang for your buck in everything you buy.


2. Put Together a Meal Calendar:

Meal calendars eliminate having to figure out what to cook for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacking. Depending on how big of a meal you make, you may even have leftovers to take to work the next day. Sounds much smarter than spending money in the cafeteria, right?


3. Make a Weekly/Monthly Shopping List

However often you like to shop, put together a list of all of your food must-haves. Breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. Putting together a list helps decipher your grocery needs versus impulse buys and you will save, save, save.
